This is Who We Are

America is Screwed  …

It’s hard to believe … or maybe not so hard to believe. There are enough stupid people in this nation who voted for a convicted criminal to win the election to be the 47^th president of the United States. There are left-leaning pundits who think we shouldn’t denigrate the people that voted for Donald J. Trump to be president, but how can we describe the people that marked their ballots for the criminal? They are fucking stupid.

While watching the election coverage on the two news channels it was painful listening to voters coming out of the polling places explaining why they voted for the two main candidates for president. The ones voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz cited the restoration of rights to women and their health care, along with the economy and inflation were their top concerns.

The approximately 51-plus percent who voted for the convicted criminal stated it was the economy, inflation and the border with Mexico as their top concerns. Apparently they still have an unwarranted problem with undocumented brown and black-skinned people.

Inflation and the economy — these low to no information voters somehow believe a certified conman who declared bankruptcy six times, was banned from doing business in his home state for stealing from charities and lying and stealing money from the people who enrolled in his phony “university” would be better for America than an accomplished woman who put sexual predators in prison, instead of committing crimes herself.

As a nation we cannot say this past election isn’t who we are. Instead, it is most definitely who we are. The absolute truth is this: approximately 51% of American voters prefer a misogynistic, xenophobic and racist rapist, conman and convicted criminal to a well-educated, accomplished Black woman for president. Racism is still alive and well in the U.S. of A.

Let’s be honest: the vast majority of American voters knew Trump had been convicted of 34 felonies, was found liable for rape and sexual assault by a jury of his peers and that he had defamed the woman in the process. Trump was sued in various other courts and his company was brought to trial and convicted of criminal tax fraud and falsifying business records and ordered to pay over a $1 million and then was barred from every doing business in the state of New York.

Donald John Trump is a convicted criminal and a majority of Americans voted for him to be president anyway — again.

 The conclusion we can derive from that is this: most Americans are either misogynistic, xenophobic, racist and happy to have voted for a conman, rapist and convicted criminal, or, the other Trump voters are just indifferent to it because they believe a failed, six-time bankruptcy using businessman will be better for the economy.

Which translates to this: most voters in America are anti-police, immoral and delusional.

If these voters think the price of bacon and produce are too high, just wait until they see the prices after Trump tacks on his tariffs. How much of the produce you buy comes from South America? You might as well get over your love of bananas — And sugar — whoa baby.

Not to mention all those other things we like to buy at Wal•Mart and other big stores, most of which is manufactured outside the U.S … “But Trump is going to be good for the economy!”

Oh, if you think that beef and other meat is expensive now, just wait until Trump’s mass deportations and round up of all the people with Spanish accents empties out the meat processing plants. The cost of building homes will go up as construction workers are put into concentration camps and then deported. It begs the question: Will any of those Spanish-speaking construction workers have to help build any of those concentration camps before getting booted from America?

How cool will it be when Trump and his lackeys bring back “Stop and Frisk?” Any non-white folks can get stopped and temporarily detained as law enforcement officers perform what were once illegal searches. Some of those detained might be your friends, even family members. Great … something to talk about at Thanksgiving.

What have we seen since Trump and Vance won? Signs saying, “women are property” and “Homo sex is sin.” And those MAGA nuts are just getting warmed up.

One of Trump’s possible Attorneys General, Mike Davis, is excited by the prospect of acting on Trump’s enemies list, going after the media, mass deportations and putting children in cages again. “… we’re going to deport. We’re going to deport a lot of people, 10 million people when growing, anchor babies, their parents, the grandparents. We’re going to put kids in cages. It’s going to be glorious.”

Davis has also said, “I will rain hell on Washington D.C I have five lists ready to go and they’re growing. List number one — we’re gonna’ fire. We’re gonna’ fire a lot of people in the executive branch of the deep state. Number two — we’re gonna’ indict. We’re gonna’ indict Joe Biden and Hunter Biden and James Biden and every other scumball sleazeball Biden, except for the 5-year-old granddaughter who they refused to acknowledge for five years until political pressure got to Joe Biden.”

It isn’t just the crazy orange guy at the top saying these ridiculous things, it is his prime lackeys, people Trump is considering for his cabinet — like prospective attorney general Mike Davis.

The generals who worked for Trump in his first term told us Trump is a fascist. That meant diddley-squat to the  roughly 51% of voters who are putting the orange clown back in the Oval Office. What does that mean for our national security? For the right price it will become a sieve once again.

As for the #1 existential threat to our world, the climate crisis, what’s going to happen? The co-founders of the climate information service, Covering Climate Now, Mark Hertsgaard and Kyle Pope, wrote this in a recent email newsletter, “Donald Trump’s return as president of the United States is a seismic political event for the planet, but it does not change the laws of physics. As long as humans keep burning fossil fuels, the planet will keep getting hotter and extreme weather will keep getting worse.”

They also say. “… the climate story is only going to get bigger.”

The media had a hand in this election result. They didn’t challenge any Trump voters about why or how they could support a convicted felon for president,who was judged — by a jury — to be a rapist. And as of this writing, no one in the major media, including the lefty media I read and watch, has ever said the major responsibility for Trump’s win wasn’t the Democratic Party or the media, but the approximately 51% of voters who picked Trump and the Republicans. Eugene Robinson of The Washington Post hinted at it in his latest column, Like many of us Robinson can’t understand how or why so many Americans put the crook back in the White House, but he does acknowledge the misogyny and racism used by Trump to capture the votes of so many people.

The big issues some pundits have with the Democratic Party are the disastrous way they presented the nominee, from letting Biden stay in the race so long, to letting the GOP convince voters the Republicans are better for the economy and are more pro middle class than Democrats. That’s all true, but it isn’t the main reason for Trump’s win.

We have to be honest about our family, friends and neighbors that voted for Trump: they liked the misogyny and racism. It wasn’t a bug in Trump’s message, it was a feature.

Think of what is in store for the U.S. and the world. Thank you to the immoral people that voted for the misogynistic, xenophobic, racist rapist, conman and convicted criminal. This is who we are.
