PaleyFest magic is coming to L.A.
The annual television festival is moving from The Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills to the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood and Highland!
What is the PaleyFest you ask? It is an amazing interactive pop culture festival produced by The Paley Center for Media that connects fans with the creators and cast members of their favorite series. It is a two-week event in Los Angeles where TV junkies can attend in person (or via Hulu) panels of some of their favorite TV shows.
The panels always have the creators and stars of the shows giving you an inside look into what is up next for the series and what goes into making the shows. Also, at the end of the panels, there is always a Q&A where audience members can ask anyone on the panel a question. It is a truly amazing organization that all TV junkies should be aware of.
The Paley Center for Media, formally known as The Museum of Television & Radio (MT&R) AND The Museum of Broadcasting, was founded in 1975 by William S. Paley, and is an institution dedicated to social, creative, and cultural significance of television and radio. It was renamed The Paley Center for Media on June 5th, 2007 to incorporate other emerging platforms such as Internet, podcasting, and mobile video.
It then expanded its role to be a place where media and entertainment professionals can engage and debate in the discussion of television and the ever evolving world of media.
This is where the Paleyfest comes in! Paleyfest has been going on since 1985, and has brought TV junkies and aficionados together every year delivering an inside look at some of the best television shows known to man.

That’s right, you can be in the same room as some of your favorite stars, writers, producers, and directors for as little as $15! I personally have been to several of the panels and can honestly say it is one of the coolest things to do in Los Angeles.
The full lineup for the 2014 PaleyFest has been released, and it is one of the best ones that I have ever seen. If you are in the Los Angeles area, I highly suggest you look into attending. However if you do not live in L.A., don’t fret, you can stream the panels on Hulu Plus the next day!
