Clippers three-way trade sends Jamal Crawford to Atlanta
It is reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN that the Los Angeles Clippers have a three-team trade in place that will send guard Jamal Crawford to the Atlanta Hawks, with center Diamond Stone and a second round pick in next year’s draft. Crawford, a 16-year veteran, is expected to ask for a buy-out from the Hawks.

The deal will bring forward Danilo Gallinari over from the Denver Nuggets — for $65 million over three years — to strengthen to Clippers’ front court, with Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.
The Nuggets will get forward Paul Millsap from Atlanta in the trade.
Point Guard Chris Paul was going to opt out of his contract with the Clippers so they traded him to the Houston Rockets — where Paul wanted to go — in a trade that brought seven players to Los Angeles. Today’s trade is intended to make up some of what the Clippers lose with their All Star point guard now in Houston.
Besides good players like Patrick Beverley and Sam Dekker, the Clippers also got Lou Williams, a 12-year veteran, in the trade with Houston. He had been a favorite of L.A. Lakers fans when he was with them and that popularity is likely to carry over with the Clippers.

We are not the typical news website – nor do we wish to be. We will be offering more than news and blogs, but an opportunity for fiction writers, poets, comedians and musicians to showcase their talent and skills. Much like when the Beatles formed Apple Corps Ltd, they opened the door to all kinds of inspiring talent that never really got a shot. From that came the likes of James Taylor and others. We hope by providing a similar approach we can shine the light on some tremendous undiscovered talent and at the same time offer some familiar voices who live in Los Angeles and beyond.
