Rams get ready for big draft
The Los Amgeles Rams are getting ready for the NFL Draft next week. By now everyone, at least in Los Angeles, has heard about the big NFL Draft trade deal the Rams made with the Tennessee Titans. The Rams give up six draft picks to get back three, including the number one pick in this year’s NFL draft.
They are expected to take a quarterback, a franchise player, that will lead the team to championships. The rumor is the Rams are likely to pick either Carson Wentz of North Dakota State or Jared Goff of California. Both have met with the team and have impressed the coaches.
Our reporter Claudia Gestro will be in Chicago this week to cover the NFL Draft, so we can look forward to her video reports.
Last week the Rams held a voluntary practice and afterwards invited the media to a press conference with some of the players. Claudia covered that event, which featured cornerback Trumaine Johnson, defensive end Robert Quinn, safety T.J. McDonald and wide receiver Tavon Austin. Below is her video report from that event.

We are not the typical news website – nor do we wish to be. We will be offering more than news and blogs, but an opportunity for fiction writers, poets, comedians and musicians to showcase their talent and skills. Much like when the Beatles formed Apple Corps Ltd, they opened the door to all kinds of inspiring talent that never really got a shot. From that came the likes of James Taylor and others. We hope by providing a similar approach we can shine the light on some tremendous undiscovered talent and at the same time offer some familiar voices who live in Los Angeles and beyond.
