Cárdenas on Sessions: Do Republicans Work for Trump or the American People?

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today U.S. Representative Tony Cárdenas released the following statement regarding Attorney General Sessions’ contact with Russia.

“Attorney General Sessions swore under oath and moments later lied under oath. He should resign. The Republicans should join Democrats and the American people in demanding the truth that they deserve. This can only be uncovered by an independent special prosecutor. It’s time to see if Republicans work for Trump’s Administration or the American people.”
