Silver Spur Awards take the stage for 21st year

This is the 21st “Silver Spur Awards” this year honoring Patrick Wayne son of mega star John Wayne. R. L. Tolbert best known for co-starring with Clint Eastwood in Pale Rider, Dawn Wells best known for her co-starring role on the CBS TV Series Gilligan’s Island, Johnny Crawford the young co-star in the hit TV series The Rifleman, Robert Carradine who launched his western genre career on the hit TV show Bonanza, and Billy Zane whose great career includes appearances on hit TV shows Twin Peaks, Guilt, Mag Dogs, Cleopatra, Deception and Brotherhood of Justice.
The show begins on Friday, September 21st, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at the world renown Sportsman’s Lodge, 12825 Ventura Boulevard, Studio City, California with special entertainment being provided by the Steve Waddington Band. Presenting the awards on behalf of The Reelcowboys include Bill Macdonald, Sam Elliot, Darby Hinton, Steve Connors, Richard Gabai and Robert Lanthier.
The Reelcowboys.org is a 501.c3 charitable organization that raises money to help injured stunt men and stunt women and also to help with American military veterans.
