Southern California to receive rain through Saturday
The National Weather Service is predicting rain off and on throughout Southern California through Christmas Day. Rain began falling yesterday in San Diego County and then Wednesday Evening in Los Angeles.

San Diego County will receive more rain than the Los Angeles area, which is only predicted to see rain through Friday. San Diego and parts of Orange County can expect to see some rain on Saturday.
There are also high surf advisories from Lompoc to Paso Robles, as well as small craft advisories for the waters off the California coastline. The NWS suggests mariners check the forecast before heading out on the ocean and staying in the harbor if it is stormy.
There are winter storm warnings in Central and Northern California in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Any higher elevation should expect some snowfall this week.
Have a safe and happy Holiday Weekend.

Los Angeles Post-Examiner is not the typical news platform. We go beyond headlines, creating a space for fiction writers, poets, comedians and musicians to share their talent and be discovered. Inspired by the Beatles’ vision behind Apple Corps Ltd, they opened the door to all kinds of inspiring talent that never really got a shot. From that came the likes of James Taylor and many others. By providing a similar approach we can shine the light on some tremendous undiscovered talent and at the same time offer some familiar voices who live in Los Angeles and beyond.
