Listen to this article

If you’ve decided to visit Los Angeles, but have yet to decide where to go and what to do, then this is the guide you need. Here you will find destination suggestions that will guarantee that your short trip is a memorable one. However, if you really want to maximize your enjoyment in that short time, then you should make sure that the journey is just as much fun as the destination.

The best way to do that is to rent an exotic car to drive yourself to each destination. Renting a Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, or any other car of that caliber is a terrific way to get around town. You get to arrive and leave each destination in style in a dream machine that makes your short trip even better. So, when you get to LA, rent the sleekest, coolest car you can and take it to these locations for your short two-day jaunt.

Griffith Park and Griffith Observatory

For your first destination, why not visit a place that has two destinations in one? Griffith Park is a large municipal park located near the Santa Monica mountains and is known as the Central Park of Los Angeles, though it is more rugged and wild than that New York park. There are lots of hiking trails available, but if you want to go horseback riding, there are equestrian trails in the park as well. Griffith Park also has picnic areas, golf courses, and various concessions for when you get hungry. There are also different fairs and festivals that take place at Griffith Park throughout the year.

Of course, the biggest attraction in Griffith Park is Griffith Observatory. It is one of the legendary LA locations and has been used in several popular films and TV shows throughout the years, but it is more than just a pretty background location. The observatory has a planetarium show and free telescope viewing so that visitors can get a better view of the sights. And what sights they are! Griffith Observatory has great views of the Hollywood Sign, Downtown Los Angeles, and the Pacific Ocean. Best of all, admission is free.

The Santa Monica Pier

This is easily the most famous pier in the world, not that there is much competition, but even so, the Santa Monica Pier is one of the star attractions in Los Angeles. You may have seen it in different movies or TV shows since its iconic Ferris wheel is world-famous. But there is more to the pier than that Ferris wheel since there are other old-fashioned fairground rides like the roller coaster and carousel. If you want to do something more active, then there is the trapeze school that sends you soaring over the pier. If you want a more relaxed activity, then you can head to the west end of the pier for some laid back fishing.

Venice Beach

Venice Beach, aka Muscle Beach, is known for all the weightlifters, bodybuilders, and fitness enthusiasts who populate its outdoor gyms. But there is a lot more to Venice Beach than huge biceps and six-pack abs. It is one of the quirkier areas of  Los Angeles with lots of vendors, arts and craft stores, piercing and tattoo shops, skate stores, surf shops, and various street performers to be found all over. There are also restaurants and bars if you want to grab a bite or a drink. If you want to get your heart pumping harder, then there is a bike path and a skateboard park to get you moving.

The Hollywood Walk of Fame

Yes, it’s touristy, and yes, some of those stars have either been forgotten, or are now more infamous than famous, but there is no denying the allure of this legendary location. You can spend some time walking the Walk and checking out the famous names that adorn it. And when you get tired of that, you can head into one of the many stores along the Walk of Fame.

The Hollywood Sign

This is one of the can’t miss, must-see locations to visit when you’re in Los Angeles. Yes, you’ve seen it in countless movies and TV shows, but there is nothing like seeing it in person. No trip to LA, no matter how short or long, is complete without a visit to the Hollywood sign.

Rent a Car And See The Sights of Los Angeles!

There is a lot to see in Los Angeles and two days isn’t enough to see it all, but these locations are a good start. They will make your short trip a memorable one and will give you a lot to do while you’re there. So rent the coolest car you can find and take a trip to check out the sights of Los Angeles.
