Dodgers take two from Nats
Back here at Dodgers Stadium where the L.A. Dodgers have returned after a short road trip to Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. The Dodgers won two of three against the Phillies, but the Pirates swept the Dodgers in a three-game series.
The Dodgers opened a homestand with a three-game series against the Washington Nationals, losing the first game 8-3, with Ian Desmond hitting two homers for the Nats. But then Zack Greinke and Clayton Kershaw pitched the next two games and as manager Don Mattingly put it, they hoped to “restore order” to the team.
Below is my video report of the series, with an interview with Nationals first baseman Clint Robinson.
