Parking and Transportation

Guests attending the Genesis Open have a number of convenient options for getting to and from the tournament. For detailed information on parking and transportation options for the 2017 Genesis Open, please visit GenesisOpen.com/spectators.

MONDAY PARKING: For guests attending the Genesis Open on Monday, February 13, parking will be located at Paul Revere Charter Middle School (13103 Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90049) with the Main Entrance a short walk away on Longworth Dr.

WEDNESDAY – SUNDAY: Public parking for the Genesis Open on Wednesday – Sunday, February 15-19, will be located in downtown Santa Monica parking structures S1 through S8. Parking structures S1 through S8 are open 24 hours a day and regular parking rates and rules apply. After parking, guests are encouraged to ride the complimentary tournament shuttle.

Tournament Shuttles: From Wednesday – Sunday, February 15-19, the Genesis Open will provide complimentary shuttle services for guests attending the tournament who parked in Downtown Santa Monica. The shuttle pick-up and drop-off location in Santa Monica will be located on Wilshire Blvd. between 2nd St. and 3rd St., and will drop guests off at the Main Entrance of the tournament. Complimentary shuttles will run from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday – Friday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Uber: An official transportation partner and the preferred rideshare provider of the Genesis Open. Guests who ride Uber to the Genesis Open will have a convenient walk-up entrance from the tournament’s designated Uber drop-off and pick-up location at Paul Revere Charter Middle School (1450 Allenford Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90049). New riders to Uber are eligible to receive a free first ride (up to $15) by entering code GENESIS17.

Metro: An official transportation partner of the Genesis Open. Guests who ride the Metro Expo Line should exit at the Downtown Santa Monica station and walk to the tournament shuttle pick-up and drop-off location on Wilshire Blvd. between 2nd St. and 3rd St. This walk is approximately half a mile (10-15 minutes). Go Metro and plan your trip at www.metro.net.

Box office and will call

The box office and will call is located at the tournament’s Main Entrance and will be open at the regularly scheduled gate times. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance online and select the print-at-home delivery option.

Youth and student admission policy

For golf fans 15 years and under, complimentary youth tickets can be picked up at the Genesis Open box office, located at the Main Entrance, when accompanied with a ticketed adult. Discounted Clubhouse youth tickets also can be purchased at the box office. For high school and college students, discounted student tickets are available for purchase at the box office with a valid high school or college ID.

Veteran ticket discount

Military veterans are eligible to purchase grounds tickets to the Genesis Open at a 25-percent discount. Discounted veteran tickets can be purchased in advance online at GenesisOpen.com or at the box office with appropriate ID.

Complimentary military admission & Military Pavilion

All active, retired, reserve and National Guard military members are eligible to receive complimentary grounds tickets. Complimentary military tickets can be redeemed online in advance at GenesisOpen.com or at the box office with an appropriate military ID. Complimentary military tickets provide access to the Military Pavilion located on 14 tee. The Military Pavilion, open Wednesday-Sunday, is a climate-controlled venue with complimentary food and beverage provided throughout the day.

Prohibited Items

All guests may be subject to inspection prior to entering the tournament. The following items are not permitted on tournament grounds:

  • Backpacks/large purses
  • Beverage containers and coolers
  • Large camera bags and cameras (Monday & Wednesday permitted)
  • Chairs in bags and folding-arm chairs (higher than 18 inches or wider than 20 inches)
  • Ladders
  • Packages
  • Pets/animals
  • Periscopes
  • Picnic baskets
  • Radios and televisions
  • Signs/banners
  • Video cameras/recorders
  • Weapons and firearms

UPDATE Friday, Feb. 17: Inclement weather has suspended the second round of the open after fog suspended the first round on Thursday. When pay resumes will have to wait at least 24 hours as the storm is predicted to be in the area until 3 p.m. PT Saturday. The weather is predicted torange from “terrible” to “life-threatening.” Residents should be prepared for high winds and the possibility of flash flooding.

Although there should be a break in the weather for Sunday, more rain is expected for Monday.

Temperatures will remain in the low 60’s.
