Today it will be mostly sunny, with the high around 59°f. If you’re heading to the Coliseum for the final Rams game of the season, dress warm. Their opponent today will be the Arizona Cardinals, another 4-11 team, but one with an offense that can put up some numbers. Arizona is a seven point favorite.

If you’re going anywhere in Southern California today dress warm. But otherwise the weather conditions will be nice. Just a little chilly.

Los Angeles might see a little rain after 10 p.m., but Orange and San Diego Counties will get more precipitation. Anaheim should get more tonight starting at about 10 p.m. Over on the coast, about an hour later. In San Diego it will start raining at about midnight, so be prepared. The farther south you are, the wetter you will get tonight.

If you’re heading to Pasadena for the Tournament of Roses Parade and the Rose Bowl — you will have to do it on Monday. Today is given over to the NFL’s final game day of the season. If you are going to Pasadena on Monday, dress warm and be prepared for rain. It will be in the 40s for the parade and the low to mid-50s for the game — which will feature the #5 Nittany Lions of Penn State and the #9 Trojans of the University of Southern California. Game time is 2 p.m. and it will be broadcast on ESPN. The Trojans are seven point favorites and the total score is expected to be over 60 points.

We will have another mayoral election this year with the primary on March 7. The mayoral election will be May 16. Mayor Eric Garcetti is running for re-election and he will have at least six opponents.

Whatever your plans are for today, enjoy it and try to have a little optimism for the future.
