Luc Robitaille honored before Kings face Penguins
On Saturday, March 7, the L.A. Kings faced the Pittsburgh Penguins at Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles. Before the game the Kings honored one of the all-time great Kings players — Luc Robitaille. There was a ceremony unveiling a statue of the left winger, who, in his 19-year career, earned 1,521 points and scored 726 goals.
Along with Luc were his wife Stacia and son Jesse and team officials, plus Wayne Gretzky and Lakers legend Jerry West.
This is my video report from the ceremony and the game.
