Rain in Southern California to last through evening
Southern California residents found themselves getting rained on again, the second time in a month’s time.
This current rainfall is from a front that came down from Northern California. It’s expected to rain off and on throughout the day, until 11 p.m.
The counties affected include Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino and Imperial. The higher elevation can expect snow tonight, but it is not going to accumulate.
The National Weather Service says there is a 70-80 percent chance of rain in Southern California for the remainder of the day.
The Miramar Air Show at MCAS Miramar in San Diego was shut down. some planes flew briefly in the early afternoon, and then later more flights took place, but the show by the Blue Angels had been canceled due to low ceiling and continued clouds.
The game between the Cleveland Brown and the San Diego Chargers went on time, the fans at Qualcomm Stadium undaunted by the rain.
The skies should be clearing up by Monday afternoon.

We are not the typical news website – nor do we wish to be. We will be offering more than news and blogs, but an opportunity for fiction writers, poets, comedians and musicians to showcase their talent and skills. Much like when the Beatles formed Apple Corps Ltd, they opened the door to all kinds of inspiring talent that never really got a shot. From that came the likes of James Taylor and others. We hope by providing a similar approach we can shine the light on some tremendous undiscovered talent and at the same time offer some familiar voices who live in Los Angeles and beyond.
