Weather update: Southern California

Here’s a brief weather update: It’s still cloudy across Southern California, but there shouldn’t be any more rain in the Los Angeles area. There’s a slight possibility of rain in the early afternoon.The humidity will remain high and it will be partly cloudy throughout the day.

It remains cloudy to the south of Los Angeles; Irvine and the surrounding Orange County area will experience more rain this morning and possibly this afternoon. To the southwest in San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente and Dana Point there will be rain in the morning and afternoon.

The coast can expect rain throughout the day, especially in Newport Beach, Huntington Beach and Seal Beach.

Oceanside is getting rain for most of the morning, as is Carlsbad and the Northern San Diego County Coastal area. La Jolla is expected to get rain most of the day.

Most of San Diego will see more rain this morning and this evening and other parts will get more rain throughout the day.

You will have to cross the border into Tijuana, Mexico to avoid the rain, but it will be cloudy all day there.

Temperatures across the region will be in the 70s.

The National Weather Service is predicting sunny skies for Tuesday.
