Lakers optimistic as they prepare for OKC
For Lakers fans this has been a tough season. It started off with a losing streak and then another, but the team has begun to show improvement, putting together a three-game win streak that includes wins over the Sacramento Kings, the San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Lakers have shown such good improvement some fans and analysts are predicting they will make the playoffs. That’s still four months away, so it is possible. The Lakers aren’t thinking about the playoffs right now. All they are concerned with is defeating OKC tomorrow night.
Today we are at the Lakers practice facility where they are getting prepared for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
OKC has had a rough start as well, their record is 12-13, but like the Lakers they have had flashes of their playoff form and seem to be improving. Fans can expect a good game Friday Night.
Kobe Bryant has surpassed Michael Jordan on the all-time points list and now trails only Karl Malone and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Now that Bryant has reached that milestone both he and the team can put it behind them.
Below is a video with more of my report, from the Lakers practice facility.
