Bachelor Trash-Bag Blues
Dirty socks in a pizza box
No insurance and faulty locks
Old blue jeans and magazines
Checkbook needs some balancing
I can’t seem to lose
The bachelor trash-bag blues
Newspaper stolen from the next door neighbor
Kitchen needs some foreign labor
Cigarettes burning holes in the trash
Dirty clothes ain’t met their match
I can’t seem to lose
The bachelor trash-bag blues
Coffee grounds spread all around
Egg shells making that snap-cracking sound
Banana peels stuffed in high heels
Eviction’s coming cause I didn’t pay my bills
I can’t seem to lose
The bachelor trash-bag blues
Yellow pages from prehistoric ages
Telephone calls and broken gages
Moldy cheese growing in the halls
I don’t know what I’m gonna do with my faults
I can’t seem to lose
The bachelor trash-bag blues
