The Los Angeles Football Club opened up its practice facility at Cal State Los Angeles on Thursday. Players were allowed to practice individually. Their press release stated:
LAFC Forward Diego Rossi (Paul-Michael Ochoa)
“In compliance with detailed health and safety protocols that were created in consultation with medical and infectious disease experts, LAFC players were able to utilize team-operated field for individual workouts for the first time since March 11.
Due to the safety and health protocols set forth by MLS, media access to the Performance Center is prohibited, restricting access to players and essential staff only.
The league-wide moratorium on small group and full team training remains in place through, and including, Friday, May 15.”
Like all other organized sports at the professional and college level, there is no timetable to return to play, with our without fans in the stands.
Los Angeles Post-Examiner is not the typical news platform. We go beyond headlines, creating a space for fiction writers, poets, comedians and musicians to share their talent and be discovered. Inspired by the Beatles’ vision behind Apple Corps Ltd, they opened the door to all kinds of inspiring talent that never really got a shot. From that came the likes of James Taylor and many others. By providing a similar approach we can shine the light on some tremendous undiscovered talent and at the same time offer some familiar voices who live in Los Angeles and beyond.
