Murder in Minneapolis

On video, a 37-year-old woman shot to death by an ICE agent on the streets of Minneapolis. What was her crime? Telling her neighbors ICE agents were going through the neighborhood to round up any person they suspect of being undocumented.

“Bam! Bam! Bam!” And just like that Renee Nicole Good was dead in the driver’s seat of her SUV. Her blood covering the airbag that deployed when her vehicle crashed into another car.

The convicted felon in the White House and his lackeys in government, like dog killer Kristi Noem, were called Ms. Good a domestic terrorist, claiming she was trying to “ram” the ICE agents with her SUV. The DHS spokesperson, Tricia McLaughlin said, “conducting targeted operations when rioters began blocking ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them — an act of domestic terrorism.”

Seriously? Watch the video and ask yourself, “Is that really domestic terrorism?”

Of course it isn’t. A few weeks ago I wrote about the convicted felon’s administration calling ANTIFA a domestic terrorist organization — it isn’t even organized! At any rate, what I wrote on Christmas Eve, cut and pasted below, has been borne out today, January 7.

  • So if the felon’s lackeys can claim ANTIFA is a domestic terrorist organization and folks like me, people that are anti-fascist, are domestic terrorists, they have, in their debilitatingly racist and fascist minds, all they need to start murdering Americans without fear of consequences.

Murdering Renee Nicole Good is the first shot. How long will it be before either the federal agents and officers, or maybe military troops, fire their weapons en masse at a crowd of protestors, most, if not all, of whom identify as ANTIFA?

Is that prediction too bold? Too out there? If you’re thinking the prediction is too crazy … well, make note of it. It didn’t take long from my December 24 post for us to see an ICE agent murder an American citizen for no reason?

Just look at the Secretary of Homeland Security lied about the killing.  She didn’t even know the victim’s name before she branded Ms. Good a terrorist. Same with the orange convicted felon in his tweet or whatever they call posts on his Truth Social.

It’s hard to believe the ICE agent shooting the woman is alive? What a scumbag. He wasn’t hurt, or attacked and neither were any of his fellow ICE thugs. He was just waiting for the green light to put a bullet into a protestor or someone whose skin is too brown.Officials now claim he has internal bleeding.

Renee Nicole Good was white, we can find her photos on social media:

Which means that regardless of skin color ICE is happy to shoot anyone. That’s not even funny, or even meant to get a few laughs. It’s more evidence the felon’s crime family is gearing up to kill anyone and everyone that identifies as ANTIFA or they suspect is ANTIFA, like the ICE tracking group that Good participated in while she was warning her neighbors about the thugs.

Just to research this a little I looked up the number of ICE tracking groups — and apps — in America. It turns out we don’t have to sign up for any groups, just use community-based apps to report ICE activity in your city.

While we are talking about the murder in Minneapolis the saga of the invasion of Venezuela goes on without much coverage. American forces have pirated two more oil tankers off the Venezuelan coast, one of which was flying a Russian flag.

The MAGA Cult is destroying America, and maybe as many other countries as possible. The felon is talking about taking over Venezuela and making threats against Colombia, Mexico and out NATO partner, Greenland, which is a part of Denmark.

Buckle up  — no, better yet, get armed up. The next three years are going to be the worst in America since the Civil War. And please, don’t tell us we have to lower the heated rhetoric on both sides. Only one group of people is attacking

Now, with two shootings by Immigration officers in Portland Oregon, this madness, this fascism is just going to escalate. The anger is growing in the communities where ICE and other federal agents are violating our Constitutional rights as stated mainly in the Bill of Rights. As the fire of anger and hostilities continues to heat up, burning brighter and hotter day by day, from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. to Chicago, Minneapolis and beyond, what are we to do? How are we to respond?

The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “I have decided to stick to love … Hate is too great a burden to bear.” He also said, one can resist evil without resorting to violence. Second, nonviolence seeks to win the ‘friendship and understanding” of the opponent, not to humiliate him.”

And so many other calls for nonviolent resistance. Then I read and heard what has happened since Renee Good was murdered in Minneapolis, including the VEEP JD Vance who claims — like everyone else in that reprehensible administration — that Ms. Good was killed in a tragedy of her own making; the reprehensible thug on Fox (not) News, Jesse Watters said , in so many words, Good deserved her fate because she was a lesbian … What?

Are we not to resort to “Second Amendment solutions”? Those extreme right wing MAGA nut bars get away with comments like that. I remember the first days and months of President Barack Obama’s first term. Like when Chris  Matthews questioned the guy who wore a T-Shirt with the famous Thomas Jefferson quote, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”

The guy also had his AR-15 slung over his shoulder like a real wannabe tough guy at the President Obama even in New Hampshire, but the man had no answers for Matthews. He was too much of a coward  to verbalize why he wore that T-shirt and carried an AR-15 to a health care townhall in Portsmouth, New Hampshire by our first Black president.

But I’m not that guy … I’m not like that guy. Sure I enjoyed firing an M-16 in the USMC, as well as the Colt model 1911 M45-A1 hand gun and Smith &Wesson’s .44 Magnum, “The most powerful handgun in the world …”

Okay, maybe Dirty Harry might be a bad example and influence, but for the sake of transparency Clint Eastwood was part of my early life. As I got older I didn’t want to be anything like Eastwood or his character, Dirty Harry Callahan. I grew out of it. Most definitely, I did not (and do not) want to show up at pollical events strapped.

Maybe later I’ll write more about my fascination with Dirty Harry and Clint Eastwood, but this is about the murder of Renee Nicole Good by ICE agent Jonathan Ross.

Good is the mother of three, and a big part of her neighborhood, Her last words to Ross and everyone else, “That’s fine dude, I’m not mad at you.”

So after  everything that has come out since Good’s murder — everything that has happened since Good’s murder — I must leave all that tough guy fantasy welling up with my anger behind me and stand with the message of peaceful and nonviolent resistance, lovingly and bravely demonstrated by Mahatma Gandhi and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during times that were as tense and filled with hatred and violence as our current times.

It really is hatred that fills these people with such contempt for everyone that doesn’t think as they do. When these bigots have a president and his administration that not just shares their evil, but justifies and applauds the violence, we can expect it to spread, accelerating as it goes. We are in for a long three years.

During the convicted felon’s first term many observers were warning us about the unitary executive theory in which the entire Executive branch of the government falls under the complete control of the president, which would then lead to autocracy. The president would have the impression he or she could wrest control away from Congress — and the current orange occupant of the Oval Office has a compliant lap dog of a Congress and U.S. Supreme Court —  that president could be a dictator. In our case one with the biggest military in the world.

This just in: the killer of Renee Good Jonathan Ross, is a long time federal employee and has been a firearms instructor … Say what?

Now he and his Filipino wife are in hiding so the killer doesn’t have to face justice. That’s the way we roll in MAGA-Era America. If a person supports the orange convicted felon and commits an indiscretion or a crime in service to that orange clown — or just for personal aggrandizement — don’t worry, the felon’s administration has your back.

Cosplay Barbie Kristi Noem doubled down on the ICE presence in Minnesota, sending a couple thousand more federal agents into the Land of 10,000 Lakes to terrorize the citizens.

Breaking into homes without warrants, without just cause and detaining men, women and children without due process. Demanding people show their papers? We who lived through the Cold War relished the truth that we didn’t have to show our papers as we moved from one city or state to another.

We felt secure in the knowledge that using our First Amendment rights to protest transgressions by the government wasn’t against the law, punishable by death at the hands of federal agents — Jonathan Ross called Renee Nicole Good a “fucking bitch” after he murdered her.

Something for all of us to remember — and not just U.S. citizens:

ICE can stop and question someone, but if you are not under arrest you can ask am I free to leave and leave if the answer is yes.

  • ICE generally cannot force you out of your car unless you are under arrest or they have legal grounds to detain you
  • ICE cannot detain U.S. citizens or people lawfully present without probable cause or a valid warrant
  • Private property including schools can deny ICE entry unless agents have a search warrant signed by a judge
  • If ICE arrests someone, the government must justify the detention in court
  • Federal agencies can block states from joint investigations, but states and cities can still run their own investigations.

••• •••• ••••• •••• ••••

All of this and we are still waiting to see the Epstein Files released, without all the redactions the convicted felon in the White House and all his friends.

He has started a war with Venezuela, promising to steal their oil and gas;  plus kidnapping their criminal leader and his wife. You know, it really sucks when it looks and sounds like we are taking the side of a brutal dictator, Nicolás Maduro Moros, when we write or talk about the international crimes committed by the orange convicted felon when our military invaded a sovereign nation and kidnapped its leader, Maduro and his wife.

To make it worse, much, much worse, the felon’s administration won’t even acknowledge Edmundo González and María Corina Machado as the legitimate government in Venezuela.

Now that criminal in the White House is saber-rattling at our NATO allies, Greenland and Denmark, threatening to take over the giant island, “one way or another.”
There was a meeting at the White House Thursday and this was the result.

Plus, he now wants to invade Cuba and install Marco Rubio as its leader. This would be funny if it wasn’t so true.

As I start to wrap this up, I hear Pam Bondi’s storm troopers invaded the hope of a Washington Post reporter … seriously.  She isn’t the target of the investigation, according to the DoJ. On the other hand the reporter Hannah Natanson has asked government employees to reach out to her about the conditions in the various federal workplaces. Kind of like a whistle blower’s outlet.

The big theory, which is likely not a theory, is that the convicted felon’s administration is trying to put a chill on government workers complaining about their workplaces during the felon’s second term.

This going to be a long three years.
