San Diego hemp company moves south of the border
HempMeds, Mexico, a subsidiary of the San Diego-based Medical Marijuana, Inc, opened its first office in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. They said demand for their zero-Tetrahidrocannabidiol (THC) Real Scientific Hemp Oil-X continues to grow in Mexico.
They also announced the company had appointed Raul Elizalde to be the General Manager to lead their strategy in Mexico. Elizalde is the founder of Por Grace Foundation, After a 2015 court ruling his 8-year old daughter Grace became the first patient to legally use CBD. Raul started the foundation, in her name, to spread information about medical marijuana and CBD and to advocate for medical marijuana reform in Mexico.
In April Elizalde joined Mexican President Peña Nieto on stage when the president announced he and the country would pursue medical cannabis reform.
Medical Marijuana, Inc estimates that Mexico’s population of 120 million has the potential of being a $1-2 billion market over the next 10 years. The company’s RSHO-X™ was the first cannabis product to receive approval from the federal government of Mexico, via a COFEPRIS permit, for importation.

We are not the typical news website – nor do we wish to be. We will be offering more than news and blogs, but an opportunity for fiction writers, poets, comedians and musicians to showcase their talent and skills. Much like when the Beatles formed Apple Corps Ltd, they opened the door to all kinds of inspiring talent that never really got a shot. From that came the likes of James Taylor and others. We hope by providing a similar approach we can shine the light on some tremendous undiscovered talent and at the same time offer some familiar voices who live in Los Angeles and beyond.
