Wishbone Ash coming to Southern California
One of the guitar bands of the Classic Rock era, Wishbone Ash, will be coming to southern California venues this April. The Canyon Club in Agoura Hills April 20, The Rose in Pasadena April 21 and The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano April 22. Then they will head up to Yoshi’s Jazz Club in Oakland April 25 and The Fox in Redwood City April 26. If you’re in Las Vegas on April 19 you can catch them at the Railhead, Boulder Station Hotel Casino.
In the early to mid-1970’s Wishbone Ash was an influential guitar band that featured two lead guitar players. Local rock dads across America covered their music, from “Phoenix,” which appeared on their first album, Wishbone Ash, to “Silver Shoes,” which was released on their sixth album, There’s the Rub. Fans will also remember “The King Will Come” and “Warrior” from their third album, Argus.
Wishbone Ash has many more albums, plus a new box set, Wishbone Ash: The Vintage Years, which is available through Madfish Records.

We are not the typical news website – nor do we wish to be. We will be offering more than news and blogs, but an opportunity for fiction writers, poets, comedians and musicians to showcase their talent and skills. Much like when the Beatles formed Apple Corps Ltd, they opened the door to all kinds of inspiring talent that never really got a shot. From that came the likes of James Taylor and others. We hope by providing a similar approach we can shine the light on some tremendous undiscovered talent and at the same time offer some familiar voices who live in Los Angeles and beyond.
