KX Festival is coming in just 9 days
In nine days the KX Festival returns — for the fourth year — to the Levitt Pavilion at MacArthur Park for three days of Los Angeles culture. From the entertainment to the food those attending this free festival will have a great selection of fun.
For entertainment Sammy Sam and Flava Flav of Public Enemy headlines Friday’s entertainment and Cha Cha Malone, Phe Reds, and Jarv Dee headline on Saturday.
This year the festival will have a Food Truck Showdown with some L.A. favorites and fresh newcomers. KX will focus on flavors unique to the City of Angels, not just Koreatown. Entries will be The White Rabbit, The Steamy Bun, The Fat Queso, Belly Bombz, Garcia’s Shack, The Lobos, The Boba and Anas Fresh.
KX is a festival for all ages so bring the whole family.
The festival gets its name from Kore-Angeleno Exchange and celebrates the great diversity of Los Angeles culture, people, art and food. The core of the festival will be the Korean-American lifestyle.
This weekend KX Festival kicks off on Friday July 27 at 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., Saturday July 28th, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday, July 29th, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
KX takes place at the Levitt Pavilion in MacArthur Park, 2230 W. 6t h Street, Los Angeles, California.

We are not the typical news website – nor do we wish to be. We will be offering more than news and blogs, but an opportunity for fiction writers, poets, comedians and musicians to showcase their talent and skills. Much like when the Beatles formed Apple Corps Ltd, they opened the door to all kinds of inspiring talent that never really got a shot. From that came the likes of James Taylor and others. We hope by providing a similar approach we can shine the light on some tremendous undiscovered talent and at the same time offer some familiar voices who live in Los Angeles and beyond.
