Love yourself
Upon entering into 2018 I have found that with the climate of the country today, the best thing any of us can do is take care of ourselves. What does that mean or look like exactly? For starters, being healthy to oneself makes you a better person for a partnership, your job, your life period.
Taking care of oneself involves a whole series of things but it definitely depends on you and what you want to accomplish. If your agenda for the year is to lose weight, start small. If your agenda is to get a better job, turn over every rock until you find what you’re looking for and if your agenda is to find love — start by loving yourself first.
Loving yourself involves getting enough sleep, making time for yourself, spending time with yourself and learning what makes you tick and what you need in your life. Internal happiness isn’t a farce, it does exist and you don’t have to search high and low to find it.
It isn’t impossible to spend time alone because once you realize that you’re a great person, it will come naturally. Make a list of things you enjoy doing, things that make you happy and you’ll be well on your way.
Loving yourself makes it easier to be a part of a partnership with someone else. No one else can make you happy and until you realize that, you will have a hard time finding happiness in a relationship.
There are great things in all of us, just find your great things, amplify them and get ready for great things to come your way. 2018 is the year for change – go get your happy ending! Cheers!
