Life: A few things to ponder
Apple vs. The Government: Hard to root for either. Apple is not worried about your personal security since they have no problem creating devices that allow your every move and thought to be tracked by companies looking to sell you something. Then again, if anyone can screw up a terrorism investigation, well, lets just say our government has as good a shot as any other. At least we can rest assured our Supreme Court will probably decide the matter, all 8 of them.
Hillary The Progressive: I laugh when she describes herself as a progressive. How does a progressive have such a huge delegate lead over an opponent she has split Iowa and New Hampshire with? I am sure it is just a coincidence most of the Super Delegates who are selected because they are part of the party’s establishment have already decided Hillary is their choice. Any chance she tells them she does not want their support?
Supreme Court: Funny how Republicans insist on allowing the people to decide who should select the vacancy left by the passing of Antonin Scalia. It’s as if they forgot the people decided in 2012 when they re-elected President Obama. And to think one of the leaders of this is a presidential candidate who is a noted constitutional scholar, Ted Cruz. This just shows you how candidates really want a stupid population. It is also why you see less emphasis in our federally-funded schools on learning history.
John Kasich: You might disagree with the man’s politics, but how can anyone not like this person? It’s a shame there are not more people like him in this country running for public office. He’s willing to work with both parties, knows you cannot get everything you want if you want to get things done, and he realizes it is better to be positive and uplifting than rely on fear mongering. He is the most decent person to run for president in a long time.
Pope Francis: Read his entire quote before you tell him to stay out of our business. And as for those who love to mention the wall around Vatican City; it’s open to people from all over the world, even Muslims.
The Wall: A) I love how Kasich was able to express as much love for this concert as he is able to express his love for this nation.
B) As for that wall Trump promises to build, what do you bet the Mexican drug cartel already has begun digging the tunnels they intend to use to go under it?
C) Instead of building a wall, why not bring our military home and allow them to police our border rather than the constantly shifting borders in the Middle East?
Poor Kanye: So he claims to be broke. Poor fellow. Why not earn money the old fashioned way? Make a sex tape, then create an asinine reality show, marry a drug addict, and then sell teenagers apps that teach them how to be just like you? It’s worked well for his wife and her sisters.
